Sc. degree in Genetics & Developmental Biology. Professsionally, Lesly has spent the last ten years as a research scientist in the fields of cancer cell biology and chemotherapeutics while pursuing an alternate career as a journalist, writer, and educator.

She is currently living in Texas with her husband where she spends her free time spoiling her pet parrots and preparing to go back to graduate school.
